Dust down your dirndl and pull on the lederhosen for Diani’s finest folk festival! Experience the eclectic atmosphere and all the fun and excitement of the Nomad Ocktoberfest.
The origins of Germany’s famous festival date back to 1810, when celebrations where held in Munich in honour of the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen. Five days of festivities heralded the start of the annual Oktoberfest, which is now celebrated around the world.
The Nomad Oktoberfest is a spirited affair with a selection of games on the terrace and long wooden tables to gather round and enjoy thirst-quenching festival beers. You can also savour the delicious taste of our traditional Bavarian cuisine including pretzels, weisswurst served with special mustard, leberkäse (meatloaf), sauerkraut and sausage, schweinshaxn (pork knuckle), grilled chicken and apfelstrudel.
Celebrations wouldn’t be complete without the chance to sing and dance the night away under a starry, moonlit sky.
Join us for the 3rd annual Nomad Oktoberfest 2018 on Saturday, 29th September from 7pm – 12am.
O’zapft is!
